Having lived in the US, UK, and Switzerland, and managed business in the Americas, Europe and Asia, Andy has a strong international mindset. Eleven years of Andy’s career was with GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals in Sales and Marketing Leadership, followed by ten years with Straumann.

Most recently, he held the position as North American Divisional President of Straumann, with P&L responsibility and a high, profitable growth remit of the dental implant and biologics business. He led culture transformation to help his team adapt to significant market change and consequently coached his team to outperform the market’s growth in twelve successive quarters, contributing to significant share price gains for the company.

His natural strength at cultivating trusting, long lasting partnerships with customers was at the core of his success in growing Dental Specialist practices and consequently his team’s success also.

Andy’s characteristics of decisiveness, urgency, accountability and empowerment are evident in the way he leads his teams always looking for continuous improvement of himself and his organization.
